Service Description
This class is a return to the essence of yoga—a steady rhythm of movement and breath that anchors you in presence and gently builds your inner and outer strength. Rooted in the classical tradition of Hatha Yoga, this practice is both grounding and gently heating. It offers the perfect complement to your more restorative practices, bringing balance to your week and stability to your body and mind. With an emphasis on alignment, strength, and breath awareness, you’ll build muscular integrity, support healthy bones, and cultivate the resilience needed for long-term vitality. Each session includes a slow, intentional sequence of traditional asanas, revitalizing pranayama, heart-centered mudras, and softly chanted mantras that help you align your energy with your intention. The pace invites deep listening and mindful presence. What makes this class unique is the way yoga philosophy and the heart-centered teachings of A Course in Miracles are gently woven throughout the practice, inviting you to remember the peace, strength, and love that already live within you. Together, we explore not only how to move the body, but how to shift the mind from fear to love, from striving to surrender, from doing to being. This class is especially supportive for: - Building bone density and supporting healthy aging - Improving posture, balance, and joint stability - Cultivating discipline and presence through breath-led movement - Nurturing your nervous system while building sustainable strength - Deepening your connection to body, breath, and spirit You’ll be lovingly guided in a practice that honors where you are today, with plenty of space to modify and make it your own. All levels are welcome—whether you're returning to yoga or looking to deepen your foundation. Props encouraged: Yoga mat, two blocks, blanket, bolster (or firm pillows), strap (or belt/scarf), and access to a wall or chair for support. If you can’t attend live, a recording will be emailed to you automatically after class so you can practice in your own time. You’re welcome to join with a 10-Class Package or simply drop in for a single class—whatever supports your rhythm. All sessions are recorded and sent to you afterward, so even if you can’t attend live, you’ll still receive the full experience whenever you're ready to return to your practice.
